EHS Program Strategies Resources
Survey
A survey to help identify where your company is and where it needs to be
Examples of strategies developed and executed by Georjean Adams:
- Product Stewardship: delineated business vs corporate staff functions with "product responsibility liaisons"(PRLs) within each division of 3M, making them integral to the new product development and customer service operations in the business, with corporate focus on economies of scale in maintaining a central database, training, monitoring, communicating and influencing regulations that might affect 3M businesses.
- Life Cycle Management: helped design and champion 3M's review of life cycle EHS concerns for new and existing products coordinated by business PRLs.
- Information Management: directed development of 3M's database that corporate and business EHS staff use for manufacturing and product risk management and compliance, and integrates with other corporate data bases (production, purchasing, imports and exports, emission calculations, among others).
- Product Risk Management: the Product Risk Management Strategy for the Chemical Manufacturers Association that set the framework for how industry and government can meet the public's need for assurance of adequate chemical risk management.
- Regulatory Burden Reduction: successful negotiation with EPA to reduce reporting burdens and restrictions on industry under TSCA.
