Toxic Substances Control Act - TSCA
TSCA gives the Environmental Protection Agency broad authority over the manufacture, import, use, distribution, and disposal of chemicals to prevent unreasonable risks to health or the environment.
There are numerous ways to trip over a TSCA requirement. Failure to file a report or finding out your supplier failed to inventory one of your key raw materials can add up to extraordinary fines and/or stop your business for months.
Do you need help with TSCA compliance? Concerned about potential EPA enforcement? Not sure what TSCA requirements apply to you? Check out EHS Strategies' TSCA Resources. Or call 651-204-3371 or email gla@ehsstrategies.com
